Take New Contrast, for instance, which is South Africa’s oldest running literary journal. Run by a dynamic group of celebrated writers, editors and critics, with patrons including Nobel Prize winner, J.M. Coetzee, Zakes Mda and the late, great Zoë Wicomb, Stoep is fortunate to manage their production and lend our design services to each issue.

Then there is Batis Books, an independent publishing house producing books by Scottish and African authors around the world, for whom Stoep provides social media management & digital curation services. We are proud to regularly partner with the celebrated writer and political activist, Zukiswa Wanner, whose most recent writings detail her experience onboard the Global Sumud Flotilla. Most recently, we have begun to collaborate with groundbreaking artist, activist and researcher, Tshegofatso Senne, who founded Hedone. Senne is a Black, genderqueer feminist whose community and platform is creating a living archive of Black queer life.
